  1. I could so completely use this Scanalog thing for the backlog of articles I have sitting around in boxes and bins…

I would firstly organise the magazines/newspapers/etc. that I’ve collected over time that mention or are entirely about my loved ones. Call it a compulsion but I have a hard time throwing those kinds of things away. I might recycle them if I had scanned copies, and an easy way of scanning/annexing them. Secondly I’d organise the papers/etc. written by my loved ones and myself, and I’d probably continue to hold onto the hard copies of those. But it’d be nice to have a digital backup.

    I know that’s the mandatoy bit. :)

I wasn’t sure if it’s extra “points” for doing the other things, but if you only count one activity per person, then what I’ve done below is just extra promotion for you!

I tweeted your contest (ID: Paranormality).
I commented on BrainFoggles (was in the process of doing that anyway!).

  3. I recently went through a binder full of articles I had saved and threw most of them out! I could have saved them in digital form and not had all the clutter.

I am a total packrat and could save a lot of room if I had the Scanalog. I could scan articles and then pass the magazine along to someone else who could use it, instead of reading and ripping out pages and tossing the rest.

I could scan my kids papers, too, and save them digitally (and organized!).

I do have a question, though. It says the contest ends Monday the 27th. Monday is the 30th. (Apparently I wore my copy editor hat home from work. Sorry.)
