Interview Was Posted

Murray Newlands posted an interview of me on his blog. He learned about me because of this blog, which surprised me since this is my newest blog. Part of his title, Prolific Blogger, made me laugh because that was one of the tag lines I was considering for my business cards. I hope that you will visit his post. He is interested in interviewing bloggers.

One of the things that Murray Newlands believes is in giving back link love. He does it through his interviews, his tweets, his contests and many of his posts. Remember that incoming links helps with SEO and rank. It is something that we can all put into practice.

I love connecting with other people online. Forums are one way to meet other like-minded people. The Mom Bloggers Club is perfect for me as I am a mother who blogs. I was excited and surprised to learn that I was chosen as a Featured Mom on the forum.

I enjoy helping people too. I don’t do it for notoriety, but because I believe in paying it forward. I began my blogging career with a lot of help and continue to ask questions and get answers from members on the forum. I learn a great deal from there and have fun too.

I highly recommend joining. There are many groups and over 4000 members. When you join, you get your own page where you can link to your blog(s) and list photos and other information you want to share.

Easter and Updates

Happy Easter! We had a pretty unusual day this year because of returning from our vacation late yesterday. Not much of our normal celebrating but at least we got to see some of our family.

I’ll get back to posting giveaways this week and writing my regular blog posts too. Thanks for being patient while I was at Disney World.

blogging1A little about me: I am addicted to blogging. This is my fourth blog. It’s my baby and I’m having fun building it up now. I’m married to a wonderful man. I have two daughters who are 12 years apart. One is 22 and is getting married this August. She is in grad school full time and working full time. My youngest is 10 and is the 4th grade. She’s funny and makes me laugh a lot.

I am a Disney fanatic, love to read and be online. I live in Florida and can get to Disney World in 90 minutes flat.

Correction on Sears Card Win

Things were a little mixed-up with the Sears $100 Gift Card that I won. Nothing bad, mind you. I have my card and am waiting on a good sale to buy some clothing for myself, but about what blog’s contest I actually won!

sears-gift-card1The video where the winners were announced was very hard to understand. So I was told that I won from one blogger who I originally thanked. I now learned that I actually won from Tough Girl (Kat). I find it hard to believe that she’s very tough when you read how she spent her gift card. She bought gifts for her friends instead of herself.

So, a real thank you to Tough Girl, Kat and Izea for my prize.

New Blog New Theme

Have I lost my mind? Or for those of you that know me, am I crazier than ever? None of the above, thank you very much. I’ve actually decided to start a new blog to do more product reviews. I’ve been doing product reviews on my one of my other blogs, Brain Foggles for about three months now.

My readers like knowing that I have actually tested the product, tried it out, touched it, used it, etc. I have no obligation to say that I like it and if I don’t I just don’t review it. I’m honest and able to pass along information about products that other families can use or in some case, splurge a bit on them.

I’ll also be hosting giveaways and informing you about giveaways and contests from other blogs. My giveaways are going to be different here. They are going to require a little work, but be fun too. Stay tuned to see how things will be done.

Another thing that you’ll find here is family news. I read a lot. I check out newspapers and books about raising children, keeping your family healthy physically and mentally, trends and currents events for families of all kinds and how to keep things balanced and less stressful. I hope to share this information with you.

I want to thank Chrisine from Starryske for designing my blog header. It’s my dream that I couldn’t put into words but she prompted until I gave her some ideas and she ran off with them. Check her out. She does awesome work. This theme has me tickled! Once it was complete I felt that I could start my first post and here it is.
