EcoSmart Organic Bug Control Review And Giveaway

EcoSMARTorganic bug control provided me with their Insect Repellent to review.  It is made with organic plant oils. It is DEET free and does not contain any synthetic chemicals. EcoSMART Insect Repellent, the organic bug control, keeps away mosquitoes, ticks, gnats and other insects. It’s safe for whole family. Just shake and spray on skin and clothing. For your face, spray on your hand and rub on face. Active ingredients: Rosemary Oil, Cinnamon Leaf Oil and Lemongrass Oil.

My Review: Although it’s not warm enough yet for bugs to be buzzing around, even here in Florida, I was able to give the spray a try. It absorbs into the skin quickly and does not leave a greasy or oily feel. The odor is pleasant, with no chemical smell. I assume it’s the various oils that I smell, which is nice.

Chocolate Cheerios Review And Giveaway

Chocolate Cheerios is made with real cocoa and is low in fat. It’s good for you with 8 grams of whole grain per serving, cholesterol free and is a good source of calcium and vitamin D. It tastes just like chocolate milk in a bowl! Another great addition to the Cheerios cereals.

My Review: This was a big hit in my house. Chocolate cereal is something that I use as a treat, but with the health benefits of Chocolate Cheerios, I have no problem serving this every day. Plus, I know my daughter will drink the excess milk in the bowl.

Old El Paso Green Chiles Review Tackle The Taste Giveaway

Tonight I made my famous chili but added Old El Paso Green Chiles for the first time. As  much as I hate to admit it, my chili tasted better than ever. I thought the Green Chiles were going to be uncooked and spicy, but they are cooked, soft and not in the least spicy. They add a distinctive flavor and were easy to mix into the chili.

After this good result, I’ll be using Old El Paso Green Chiles in more dishes, especially those that my husband likes. There’s a lot of snacks that are made for special times like the Super Bowl. We like Nachos and Seven Layer Bean Dip but now I’ll be adding Green Chiles. My husband will want to give these Taco Nachos a try on the grill.

Old El Paso Green Chiles come in 4.5 and 7 oz cans. I was provided with a Tackle The Taste pack which included two free cans of Green Chiles, as well as a football-shaped ceramic serving platter, two sets of football-themed plates, cocktail napkins, and a themed table runner. Progresso High Fiber Soup Prize Pack Giveaway

Progresso introduced High Fiber soups including Chicken Tuscany, Creamy Tomato Basil, Hearty Vegetable and Noodles and Homestyle Minestrone. They all have 28% of the recommended Daily Value of fiber per serving (7 grams) and have no added MSG (except what occurs naturally in yeast extract) or artificial flavors.

I had the opportunity to taste Chicken Tuscany. Growing up eating real Italian food which included Chicken soup, I admit that was hesitant to give this a try. I really enjoyed it though and ate the whole can for dinner last night. It was delicious. The addition of Great Northern Beans was almost as good as Cannellini beans and I thought the spinach was escarole. Though not perfect, it is a very good substitute, especially when you can just open a can instead of having to prepare and cook it.

I usually don’t eat the celery from any canned soup, but this had the real taste of the vegetable I enjoy. Each spoonful was full of chicken, beans, carrots, tomatoes, etc. It wasn’t overly salty either and was hearty enough for a meal for me. (I did eat a late lunch, so maybe adding a salad will be better.)

Adding fiber to your diet is something we all need to do. Eating something delicious and easy to prepare like Progresso High Fiber Soup makes it something I don’t have to think about.
