Easter Basket Toys

Here are some cute toys that will fit into your child’s Easter Basket and put a big smile on their face:

Toddlers will get a kick out of the Easter Potato Head, Spud Bunny. He is made for children ages 2 and older. This Ages and Stages toy from Playschool is adorable, helps your child be creative and use their imagination. As with all the  Potato Heads, there are individual parts to attach to his body. For Spud Bunny there’s bunny ears, bunny shoes, a tail and a pink nose. Of course all the parts can be stored in the compartment under the body. No need to worry about lost parts. It fits into a large Easter basket. Make it the main toy, add some candy and you’re all set.

There are bunnies for boys and girls. The difference is the in the color of the ears, nose and small nose on the slippers.  Once you buy one of these toys, you can just buy the sets of “Parts and Pieces”  This gift can start a collection for your child.

Littlest Pet Shop toys are really hot. Big and little girls collect them. They are made for Ages 4 and up. But my 10 year old thinks they are “the cutest”. And because there’s an online world for them, more tech savvy girls are collecting them. You can buy a two set package like this one here. This one is “Sportiest” and there are other categories like Funniest, Sassiest, Messiest. You can buy play sets, accessories and even digital toys. Start off Easter and Spring with something brand new for them to get interested in and begin collecting. You’ll make your daughter’s day!

The Easter Mr. Potato Head is adorable. I think it’s a great gift to put in my kid’s basket. I prefer to put toys and arts and crafts rather than a bunch of candy!

I love the Easter basket toy section in Target. We don’t have any kiddos yet, but I buy for our nieces. Is it sad that I have a small collection of Littlest PetShop?

Awe as cute as they are, I think Easter has really lost its meaning. I know its not about chocolate eggs etc but whatever happened to just going on a egg hunt with your kids and not buying them more pressents?

@Lady Grace – you are right.. It seems that the true meaning of Easter has lost.. But I should say that the above images are pretty cute..
