Kmart Bluelight Specials Save You Money
Tomorrow, August 15th, Kmart is holding over 40 Bluelight Specials that will save you a lot of money. Do you remember the Bluelight Specials? I sure do. They bring back such happy memories of shopping and getting big discounts. I loved hearing, “Attention Kmart shoppers” and looking for the cart with the flashing blue light.

It was like I was a part of a group of people that felt the same way I did – saving money was an important part of shopping. It made shopping fun and I was sure to buy something that I wasn’t expecting because it was truly worth it. If I brought a friend along with me, the shopping trip could go on for hours.
Now, I’m looking for back to school items, which would be perfect Kmart Bluelight Specials. I need all the normal school supplies, plus uniforms and other clothing essentials. Tomorrow, Kmart will have Kids Backpacks (Athletech, Route 66 and Licensed) reg. $19.99 on sale through the Bluelight Speicial for only $8, and 70 count Notebooks on sale for buy 2 get 1 free.
You can find these and other sales at Kmarts throughout the United States and online too at Kmart.com only on August 15th. Follow Kmart on Twitter to learn when there are upcoming Bluelight Specials, more sales and discounts.
This is the perfect time for families to look out for these type of special deals. And for Kmart to bring back a piece of the past to help us be frugal is perfect timing.

I got in big trouble at Kmart once when I was a kid for buying an Icee when my dad told me to buy popcorn. I think that was the last time I got a Kmart snack. ![]()

To be honest my main way of saving money is to buy a list and get what is on it–ignoring any and all promotions! The easiest way to not spend money is to only get what I need

I do remember K-Mart and the blue light specials from when I was younger. I don’t really enjoy the K-Mart experience anymore- but I do like remembering the 70’s and 80’s
