I was reluctant to leave them alone even with their dad. The older I got, the more I felt comfortable separating from them. If it happens that because of their (the kids') activities I end up having some alone time, then I don't feel as guilty about it. Now that they're older and are doing more on their own, I am enjoying more ME time.
